Fuming Mouth announce new album “The Ringing Bell” – reveal single with video “A Blaze of Nihilism”

Author Benedetta Baldin - 5.6.2026

A unexpected roster addition has been revealed on Fuming Mouth‘s new track, “A Blaze of Nihilism,” which is now available online, as per theprp. In May 2025, Jay Weinberg, the former drummer for Slipknot and Suicidal Tendencies, was spotted with the band in GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts. Kurt Ballou, the guitarist for Converge, was also photographed during those sessions because the studio is his home base. It was believed that Weinberg might be making an appearance behind the kit during some previously scheduled studio time, as drummer Keith Goldoni had been recovering from a damaged ankle. But it seems that he was far more involved than that. Naturally, Ballou produced this new song. The new music video for this song, which was directed by Midvessel, has Weinberg behind the kit.

He will be featured throughout their upcoming album and is also credited with creating that tune. In relation to that, this song is the lead single off the band’s upcoming new album, “The Ringing Bell,” which Triple B Records will release on July 17. Pre-order options for the record are currently available at lnk.to/fumingmouth.
