Former Frantic Amber musicians launch new death metal band Avliden

There is a new band in the death metal scene going by the name of Avliden [Swedish for: Deceased]. Hailing from Sweden’s capital Stockholm, the trio consists of Isabelle Romhagen (guitars and vocals), Johanna Orozco (bass and backing vocals) and Marcus Dalmanner (drums and backing vocals). Both Isabelle Romhagen and Marcus Dalmanner were previously part of the metal band Frantic Amber and several other metal projects. Avliden bassist Johanna Orozco also plays bass for the Latin blackened crust punkers AntiFatum, who will embark on a European tour this week. Avliden are currently recording, with “songwriting and preproduction in the process”. A sneak preview from the band’s recording sessions can be found on Avliden‘s Facebook page.
