Foo Fighters reveal surprise show for today in California

Hard rock chart-topping band Foo Fighters made a surprise announcement on September 12, announcing an intimate last-minute event for their live comeback. As reported from theprp, the band last performed live in September 2024, shortly before taking a break after singer/guitarist Dave Grohl came clean about his adultery, which led to the birth of a kid outside of his marriage. Later on in the year, Grohl would occasionally perform live as a guest. With the exception of announcing a few performances for the fall in May, the band itself stayed largely silent on the live scene. The band would change their lineup in May, firing drummer Josh Freese and adding Ilan Rubin of Nine Inch Nails as their new percussionist. The drummer’s trade with the latter industrial metal superstars was quite straightforward. This brings us to the revelation that the Foo Fighters will perform today, Saturday, September 13th at the 900-cap Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, California. Due to the event’s limited capacity, tickets will only be available for purchase in person at the box office, which is scheduled to open at 8:00 am PST. Fans will only be able to start line up at the box office at 7:00 am PST, and there will be a two-ticket limit per individual.
