Foo Fighters recruit Oliver Shane Hawkins for one-off performance
Foo Fighters, have recently announced Josh Freese as their touring drummer for 2023, following the untimely death of late drummer Taylor Hawkins. But during last night’s performance at the “Boston Calling” festival, the band was joined onstage by Oliver Shane Hawkins, Taylor Hawkins’ son.
Oliver Shane Hawkins had played with the band during a special performance of “My Hero” previously. You can watch fan-filmed footage of young Hawkins playing the early Foo Fighters classic “I’ll Stick Around” below:
