Foo Fighters: check out the new self-titled debut album from Dave Grohl’s fictional metal band Dream Widow

Dream Widow, the fictional metal band spearheaded by Foo Fighters vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl, have released their self-titled debut album. Previously expected to be an EP, this new 8-song offering sports a running time and track listing that gives it an album classification. The effort came about as an audio accompaniment to the Foo Fighters‘ recent horror-comedy film ‘Studio 666‘.

Dream Widow were a fictional metal band featured in that film who left a haunted legacy which went on to plague the members of the Foo FightersGrohl took on the vocals, guitar, bass and drumming duties on this effort, while Jim Rota (Fireball Ministry) assisted on lead guitar.
