American thrash/power metal stalwarts Flotsam and Jetsam have reached a worldwide agreement with Napalm Records and are now working on their sixteenth studio album, expected in 2026.

According to the announcement, the partnership with Napalm Records promises a collaborative relationship grounded in mutual passion for metal music. Guitarist Michael Gilbert expressed enthusiasm for the move, saying the band looks forward to building a strong rapport with the label. Napalm’s senior A&R, Sebastian Münch, cited the band’s recent albums “Blood In The Water” and “I Am The Weapon” as evidence of their continued relevance in the power/thrash metal scene and welcomed them into the Napalm family.

The new release will arrive nearly 40 years after the band’s debut “Doomsday For The Deceiver.” This signing follows a series of strong recent activities and tours, and points to a reinvigorated chapter in their long-running career.
