Finnish metal-punk band Mørket have released another single, “Trettontolv” from their upcoming album “Del III: Dodsångestens fågelsång”. You can listen to the track below and on streaming platforms.
The song was mixed at Studio Kolotila and mastered by Miro Kiiski, known for his work with Beast In Black, Pain, and Hypocrisy, adding extra punch to the band’s already raw and dynamic sound.
Early September, the band issued “Dissosiaatio” single as a preview of their album “Del III: Dodsångestens fågelsång”. In the beginning of the year they dropped the single “Kirottu maa”. They’ve become known for blending raw metal and punk energy, often mixing Swedish and Finnish in their lyrics.
The band’s name is a nod to “darkness” that resonates culturally in Northern Europe. They have also noted that the band operates “in a cross-Nordic way,” combining Swedish, Finnish, and Norwegian influences. Their sound draws from wide musical inspirations, not strictly limited to metal, which they say allows emotional extremes in their music.
