The Helsinki-based metal-punk outfit Mørket has released a brand-new single titled “Dissosiaatio”. The song is from their upcoming album, “Del III: Dodsångestens fågelsång”, set for an October release. You can listen to the track below and on streaming platforms

Earlier this year, the band released the single “Högar av lik”, which featured Felix Lybeck of Bad Sauna and highlighted the band’s blend of ferocious metal, punk, gritty rock, and shout-along choruses.

With two critically acclaimed albums already behind them, Mørket has spent the past two years pushing their boundaries and exploring new ways of self-expression. Their unique approach blends Swedish and Finnish lyrics, a mix that has become a signature element of their sound. Along the way, they’ve performed at legendary venues like Tavastia and Tullikamari, taken the stage at festivals such as Tuska, and shared bills with heavyweights like Boris, Oranssi Pazuzu, and Turmion Kätilöt.

Musically, the band draws comparisons to the raw intensity of Kvelertak and Converge, while also channeling the melodic complexity and songwriting depth of Mastodon. At the same time, their music thrives on the sheer joy of playing—even if their lyrical themes cut deep into darker territories such as human suffering, death, addiction, personal loss, and a society corrupted by greed and power.
