Filth announces new EP “Welcome To Shell Town”

The American band has proven that Downtempo Deathcore can be taken to a higher level. Since their debut EP in 2015 with “Tales From The Gutter”, the North Carolina band has made a name to themselves with three more LPs, them being “The Burden Of Isolation” (2018), “The Ignorance” (2021) and their latest “Southern Hostility” (2024). The North Carolina boys have recently announced via social media that a new EP is coming this next March 6th; “Welcome To Shell Town”.

Along the years we’ve seen that Filth has moven in a conservative way since their debut more than 10 years ago, but polishing and adding small details that makes their style even more unique, being indeed one of the main references on the genre. Filth is one of those bands that can fit as a bridge between the Hardcore/Beatdown and the Deathcore scene, and that’s always a good point in favour for a band that hasn’t stopped touring all over the globe.

The Gutter Gang from Shelby (Which gives the Shell Town” name to the record) will release this EP on next March 6th, having their new drummer Jonathan Grigg’s debut on this line-up led by Dustin Mitchell.
