Fernando Honorato alias Fernando’s Eyes, frontman of the Swedish shoegaze / post-punk band Principe Valiente, has released a new solo single, entitled “Room On Fire“, along with a music video. You can check out the video below:
The music video was directed by Damón Zurawski from the video production company “Future Legends Films”, who has also directed some music videos for Principe Valiente and Fernando’s Eyes in the past. The band depicted in “Room On Fire” includes, amongst others, Tess Törner Kaplanis (formerly known as Tess de la Cour) from the bands Memoria, Snake and Motylki.
Fernando’s Eyes comments on the new release as follows:
“Thematically, ‘Room On Fire’ is a song about leaving without looking back, not as an act of loss but as a deliberate choice. There is forward momentum in the production that matches what the lyrics are doing: no extended fade, no ambiguity held in reserve.”

“Room On Fire” features the Swedish jazz musician Lina Langendorf on saxophone and is the first single from Fernando’s Eyes‘ upcoming 2nd solo album, which will be released via Aenaos Records. Further details regarding the follow-up to his 2025 debut album “Center Of Your World” are yet to be announced.
