Family comes first: Clown and Simon Crahan to miss Knotfest Australia

There are two Crahan family members missing from Slipknot‘s recently announced “Knotfest Australia” run in Australia. M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, the percussionist for the Iowan masked metal band, did not participate in the tour’s opening night in Melbourne, Australia. Similarly, due to a “family emergency,” his son Simon, who plays drums for Vended, has missed the run. Although Slipknot has not released a remark regarding the situation, Vended, one of the opening acts for that run, did.
