Bay Area thrash veterans Exodus have announced their new studio album “Goliath,” which arrives on March 20, 2026 via Napalm Records. At the same time, the band have shared the opening track “3111” as the first preview of the record.
The album marks the return of vocalist Rob Dukes, who fronts the band again for the first time since his earlier run between 2005 and 2014. In addition, “Goliath” includes guest appearances from Peter Tägtgren and violinist Katie Jacoby. The band handled production themselves, while longtime collaborator Mark Lewis took care of mixing and mastering.
“3111” wastes no time and hits with fast, aggressive thrash from the opening seconds. Lyrically, the song focuses on the narco killings in Juárez, Mexico. The title refers to the estimated number of murders recorded in 2010. According to the band, the official video proved too graphic for YouTube and will surface in full at a later date.
The band describe “Goliath” as one of their most collaborative releases so far. Songwriting duties spread across the lineup, and several members contributed lyrics. As a result, the album reflects a more collective approach while keeping Exodus’ trademark intensity intact.
Alongside the album news, Exodus will hit the road as support on Sepultura’s final North American tour. The run also features Biohazard and Tribal Gaze, and it kicks off on April 29 at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey.
Before that, Exodus will tour Canada with Megadeth and Anthrax. Later in the year, they head to Europe with Kreator, Carcass, and Nails.
