On Monday it was reported widely that Nita Strauss, guitarist of the horror rock legend Alice Cooper’s band, was going to leave the band.
Now, according to a site called Metal Sludge, Strauss would be joining pop star Demi Lovato’s live band. Lovato is set to release a punk rock-influenced album called ‘Holy Fvck’ on 19 August via Island Records and will kick off a two-month US tour in September to support the album.
Strauss hinted in her official release that his calendar for 2022 is full of gigging so a stint in Lovato’s band would be just the right size to fill Strauss’ calendar.
Strauss has not yet publicly commented on her plans so this is only a rumour at this stage.
