Europe announce tour for the 40th anniversary of “The Final Countdown”

Swedish metal band Europe has revealed tour dates to celebrate the 40th anniversary of “The Final Countdown”. Their statement reads:

Friends,

We are very pleased to announce new European tour dates for September & October 2026!

To Celebrate 40 years of “The Final Countdown” we will be playing 12 countries taking in 19 concerts. The show will consist of many of our (and hopefully your) favorite songs from over the years, culminating in us playing The Final Countdown Album in its entirety.

In September we will also release our 12th studio record (title to be revealed soon), recorded at RMV studios in Stockholm with producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, The Pixies, Royal Blood, Opeth).

Joey: “In a blink of an eye 40 years have passed and we’re about to perform TFC in full for only the second time in our career, together with other hits and special cuts from our upcoming album. 
This will be amazing – we’re working on making the production and show match this very special occasion.”

Special Guests on the whole tour will be THE DAMN TRUTH and GUN will be Very Special Guests also on all UK shows.

Tickets will be on general sale at the following days and times:
UK shows – Thursday 27th November 10am
Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Austria, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway – Friday 28th November 11am
France – Monday 1st December 11am
Switzerland, Italy – Friday 5th December 11am
