Argentinean punk rockers Eskuoters have released a version of Eskorbuto‘s “Historia Triste” featuring Miguelón, vocalist of the Basque outfit Anti Régimen. Listen to the track below.

Eskuoters states: “Today marks the 28th anniversary of a dream come true. In 1997, when our lead singer was 17, he was inspired by Spanish punk groups such as Eskorbuto to form a band. On a day like today, that outfit made its first appearance at the Arpegios theatre. To celebrate this occasion, we have decided to release our new material today. Eskuoters pays tribute to the 40th anniversary of Eskorbuto’s Anti Todo. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the essence of Spanish punk live!

Formed in 1997 in Bajo Munro, in the north of Buenos Aires, Eskuoters is a radical rock band influenced by La Polla Records, Eskorbuto, and Kortatu.

Over the last 27 years, they have performed in Argentina, Mexico and Spain, releasing demos, compilations and albums that reflect their evolution. In 2018, they signed with the Spanish label Discos Suicidas and released “Buscando otra salida”, collaborating with renowned artists such as Fernando Madina (Reincidentes) and Alfredo Piedrafita (Barricada).

During the pandemic, they released the EP “Isla Pandemia” and the live album “Eskuoters Directo”. In 2021, while under contract with Universal/Tommy Guns, they released the singles “Indignados” and “Desaparecidos“. In 2023, they recorded the album “Ensayos Destructivos” at Estudios Panda in Buenos Aires, reaffirming their raw and combative sound.

In 2025, they celebrated the 40th anniversary of Eskorbuto’s legendary “Anti Todo” by covering it in their own style. Line-up: Luis (vocals) · Uri (guitar and backing vocals) · Ale (guitar and backing vocals) · Fran (bass) · Jero (drums) · Gonza (production) · Nico (assistant) · Pablo (photography).
