Erik Grönwall, the former frontman of Skid Row, has announced a solo performance at Cirkus in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 26, 2026.
This one is BIG. Like… “first time in 15 years” BIG. Honestly, I could argue it’s the first time ever.⠀
On May 26th, 2026, I’m doing something I’ve never done before: My very first solo show. Live at the legendary Cirkus in Stockholm.⠀
I’ve spent my entire career in bands – H.E.A.T, Skid Row, Michael Schenker and I’ve loved every second of it. ⠀
But now… it’s time to tell my story. To bring my music, my journey, my voice, and everything I’ve become onto one stage.⠀
Cirkus is where the next chapter begins.⠀
This show will be:⠀
New music from the upcoming solo album⠀
My most powerful interpretations from YouTube
A five-piece band⠀
Pure f***ing rock ’n’ roll⠀
I’ve been in this industry for 15 years… and somehow it feels like it starts now.⠀
Let’s make May 26th a night we’ll never forget.⠀
Ticket sale starts December 8th at 12:00 but we’ve released some pre-sale tickets NOW.⠀

The 38-year-old Swedish artist, who was given an acute lymphoblastic leukemia diagnosis in March 2021, announced his exit from Skid Row in March 2024, stating that it had grown more “difficult to prioritize” his health and full recovery as the group’s lead singer. Erik moved from delivering a rendition of Skid Row’s “18 And Life” during his 2009 “Swedish Idol” audition to leading the band thirteen years later. Two months after Erik left the group, Skid Row’s longtime buddy Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) sang lead vocals for the band’s four shows in late May and early June of 2024. Grönwall continued by saying that if a deal had been reached on the amount of time to spend on the road, he was always willing to continue with Skid Row.
