Enter Shikari share “Live From The Golden Age”

Enter Shikari has released a new four-track session entitled “Live From The Golden Age.” The performance features the band performing live in an abandoned manor, with the shoot directed by Tom Pullen. The audio was recorded and mixed by George Perks. During this session, Enter Shikari premiered their recent B-side track “Higher Ground” live for the first time. The band also announced an indefinite hiatus following the completion of their 2027 touring commitments.

In typical Enter Shikari fashion, we didn’t want to just do a standard ‘live in the studio session’. So we broke into an abandoned manor in the middle of nowhere, and painstakingly placed digital screens over the windows in an attempt to present the tracks in different environments despite the limits of the space. – Rou Reynolds

The band recently announced that they will play two intimate shows later this month as a warm up to their November arena tour. Heading to Oxford’s O2 Academy on 21st October, and Leicester’s O2 Academy on 22nd October, these will be the first live shows Enter Shikari have played since May in Tokyo, and are now totally sold out! These shows will also be the first since they announced their indefinite hiatus. The four-piece took to Instagram and shared this statement regarding the future of Enter Shikari, just last week.
