Emery are back in the studio working on new material

Following the conclusion of their celebratory tour for the group’s 2005 sophomore album, “The Question”, the South Carolina post-hardcore/emo band Emery has returned to the recording studio, as per Lambgoat. They are collaborating once again with producer Aaron Sprinkle to commence work on their tenth full-length studio album. Sprinkle has previously collaborated with the band on several projects, including 2015’s “You Were Never Alone”, 2009’s “
In Shallow Seas We Sail”, and 2005’s “The Question”.

Emery is currently in the final stages of their 20-year anniversary tour for “The Question”, which features performances by As Cities Burn and The Classic Crime. During this tour, As Cities Burn will perform their album “Hell of High Water” in its entirety, while The Classic Crime will present their album “Albatross”.

Emery is an American post-hardcore ensemble established in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in 2001 by Toby Morrell, Devin Shelton, Matt Carter, Josh Head, Joel Green, and Seth Studley. The group subsequently moved to Seattle to immerse themselves in a more music-focused environment. They are primarily recognized for their singles “Walls” (2004) and “Studying Politics” (2005). As of 2025, Emery has issued nine studio albums, four live recordings, along with numerous EPs and singles.
