Sadly, Elijah Blue Allman, the frontman of Deadsy, appears to be on a downward spiral, as per theprp. For an incident on February 27th, the 49-year-old son of music superstars Cher and the late Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers Band was taken into custody last month. Due to an alleged altercation at a St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire, Allman was charged with two charges of simple assault, one act of criminal trespass, and one count of criminal threatening. What connections Allman could have had to the particular school were unknown. According to a police investigation, Allman purported to be a parent to a prospective student in order to get access to the facility. It appears that the instances in issue occurred in the school’s dining hall.

After being freed on bond following the incident, Allman was detained once more on March 1. According to the authorities, he broke into a home in New Hampshire by smashing out the rear door, which led to his second arrest. According to the authorities, he was discovered smoking a cigarette on one of the house’s couches. According to CBS News, the break-in occurred in Windham, New Hampshire, and one of the homeowners contacted the police while hiding in a closet. According to reports, Allman was taken into custody without any problems. Allman claimed to have authorization to be in the residence, but the homeowners denied this to the police.

As a result, Allman was accused of two charges of criminal mischief, burglary, and bond violation. Allman was scheduled to appear in court yesterday, March 11th, for a hearing; but, due to Allman’s acquisition of new legal counsel, that date has been rescheduled. Allman’s unpredictable and worrisome actions come after a widely reported legal dispute with his mother in 2024. Citing her worries about Elijah’s well-documented history of drug misuse and mental health problems, Cher tried to establish a temporary conservatorship over his income. Cher said that Elijah would hurt himself if he were granted the approximately $120,000 yearly trust fund payout that his late father had created.

However, Elijah contested the issue in court, stating that he was seeing therapist and addiction specialist Dr. Howard Samuels and attending AA meetings. In the end, a solution was reached in that matter. Allman was reportedly admitted to the hospital for an overdose in June of 2025, despite having relaunched Deadsy in 2024 and publicly apologized to the band’s fans for not fulfilling pre-orders for a long-overdue vinyl edition.
