fantasy Viking act Eihwar are heading to North America for the first time. The duo has confirmed 17 U.S. dates this fall under the banner of the Nordic Ritual Nights tour, running from late August through late September.
The announcement arrives as the band continues to ride the wave of “Hugrheim”, their new album on Season of Mist. Four singles from the record, “Nauðiz”, “Freyja’s Calling”, “Heill Óðinn”, and “Hugrheim”, have racked up over two million combined plays on YouTube and Spotify.
Asrunn and Mark, the duo behind Eihwar, shared their enthusiasm for the milestone, noting that shows will take audiences toward Hugrheim, described as a hidden tenth world of Yggdrasil. They promise a night mixing ritual atmosphere with dancefloor energy.
Meanwhile, Eihwar kick off a European headline run next week with special guest Mira Ceti, who performs live with Heilung. Several dates on that tour are already sold out.
