Eighteen Visions surprise with re-recorded version of their classic album “Until the Ink Runs Out”

Metalcore veterans Eighteen Visions have just pulled off a surprise move by releasing a brand-new re-recording of their 2000 breakthrough album “Until the Ink Runs Out”. The new version follows in the footsteps of last year’s reimagined “Obsession”, continuing the band’s mission to breathe new life into their legacy material.

The entire project was self-produced by the band, with guitarist Keith Barney once again handling production, mixing, and mastering duties. The result is a sharper, more modern take that still manages to preserve the raw intensity of the original.

Originally a game-changer for the California outfit, “Until the Ink Runs Out” helped define Eighteen Visions’ signature “fashioncore” aesthetic and carved out a permanent place in the hearts of fans. With fresh new versions of fan favorites like “She Looks Good in Velvet”, “Champagne and Sleeping Pills”, and “The Nothing”, the album gets a whole new life in 2025.

The re-recorded album is now available for streaming, and the band isn’t stopping there — they’ve already lined up shows where they’ll perform the record in full.
