Portland metalcore band Dying Wish have released a stark new video for “Revenge In Carnage,” the second single from their upcoming album “Flesh Stays Together”. Set for release on September 26th via SharpTone, the track arrives following last month’s lead single “I’ll Know You’re Not Around”.
The video, co-directed by guitarist Pedro Carrillo alongside Imani Givertz, dives into unsettling territory with suffocating, claustrophobic imagery that mirrors the track’s themes of violence and survival. According to vocalist Emma Boster, the song embodies a vision of man-made apocalyptic violence, a final moment where survival outweighs reflection.
Carrillo described the video as a representation of the dissolution of self, highlighting how humanity often justifies violence with righteous beliefs while failing to protect one another.
Recorded with producer Will Putney (Full of Hell, Gojira) “Flesh Stays Together” builds on the momentum of the band’s 2023 release “Symptoms of Survival”, which cemented the band as one of the most exciting rising forces in heavy music.
