Dutch deathcore act Distant unleash bleak new single “Desolation”

Dutch deathcore band Distant have dropped a new slab of punishment with “Desolation”, out now on streaming platforms. The band had teased the release ahead of time, pointing followers to a pre-save and counting down to today’s date.

Meanwhile, Distant keep a busy live calendar. The group joins North American bills through November, including club dates tied to the Ingested tour, where they bring the new song to the stage. The band will also tour Europe extensively starting December and continuing to early 2026.

In addition, the band’s official channels continue to highlight merch and upcoming shows, which suggests more activity is on the way. For now, “Desolation” hits hard, with low-tuned riffs, cavernous drops, and a grim atmosphere that fits the title well.
