Duff McKagan has released “Holy Water / I Wanna Be Your Dog“, a new live medley recorded on October 5th, 2024, at Islington Assembly Hall during his sold-out Lighthouse Tour ’24.
The track is out now via earMUSIC and offers a look at the upcoming live album “Lighthouse: Live From London,” due October 31st.
The performance combines “Holy Water” from McKagan’s 2023 studio album “Lighthouse” and a blistering version of “I Wanna Be Your Dog” – the proto-punk anthem originally written and recorded by The Stooges.
The release is accompanied by an official live video, filmed during the same performance at Islington Assembly Hall.
The new album captures Duff and his band – Mike Squires (bass), Michael Musburger (drums), Tim DiJulio (guitar), and Jeff Fielder (guitar, keyboards) — performing songs from across McKagan’s storied career, including highlights from his 2023 solo record “Lighthouse” alongside a few explosive covers and special guest appearance of Sex Pistols’ own Steve Jones.
“Lighthouse: Live From London” will be released on October 31, 2025, in multiple formats: CD Digipak, CD + Blu-ray, 2LP Gatefold (180g), and Limited Signed 2LP Gatefold.
To celebrate the upcoming “Lighthouse: Live From London”, Duff is launching a curated Lighthouse archive containing all of the released music, videos, interviews, tour photos, timeline, and much more from that era.
