Dregen is known not only as a solo artist and guitarist for Backyard Babies and The Hellacopters (and formerly Michael Monroe), but also for his beer brand “The Riff”, his furniture line (see here and here) and his art. This Saturday (10 May 2025), Dregen will exhibit his artworks at “Ryssby Garveri” in the historical province of Småland in southern Sweden:

“Småland! It’s almost time for the exhibition at Ryssby Garveri. I’ll be exhibiting my art on the 10th of May from 10:00 to 16:00. There will be lots of new works, including a special print made just for this exhibition. I’ll be there! Ryssby Garveri, Lillagatan 10. Welcome!”

– Dregen

You can catch a glimpse of his new artworks on his Instagram account, amongst other social media platforms. Just last week, Dregen announced that the very last “Chicken Vindaloo” artwork, inspired by lines from the Ramones song “I Just Want To Have Something To Do“, had found a new owner, indicating that the artworks in his exhibitions are constantly being renewed.

“Ryssby Garveri” is located at Lillagatan 10 in Ryssby, Småland. There will be no entrance fee for the art exhibition which will last six hours, from 10 AM to 6 PM. If you’re planning a trip to Ryssby and want to add even more rock’n’roll to your journey: The Memorial Stone for the late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton is just a half-hour car ride from “Ryssby Garveri”.
