New Haven’s synth-rich metalcore outfit Dreamwake have unleashed their latest single, “Oasis,” along with an official music video directed by Alex Kouvatsos of Blackwolf Imaging. The song is the second preview track from their upcoming sophomore album and first release under UNFD, “The Lost Years,” due August 8th.
The video’s ethereal visuals capture the band’s signature blend of melodic steel and synthwave ambience, amplifying the atmospheric mood woven into “Oasis.” The release follows last month’s debut of “Afterglow,” which introduced the album’s emotional landscape and confirmed “The Lost Years”’ 12-track lineup.
Formed in 2018, Dreamwake has steadily evolved its sound. The band—vocalist Bobby Nabors, guitarist Dave Pazik, bassist Kevin Jacques, and drummer Andrew Popolizio—combine emotionally charged melodies, soaring breakdowns, and occasional saxophone to forge a “wavecore” identity. Their lineup will support the album with a run of North American tour dates this August, backing Thousand Below (with Aviana and True North). “The Lost Years” tracklist includes “Oasis” as its tenth entry among a dozen songs.
