Dr. Feelgood guitarist Wilko Johnson dies at age 75
Wilko Johnson, vocalist/guitarist of British rock band Dr. Feelgood, has passed away at age 75.
This news was confirmed on his social media earlier today. You can read the message below:
“This is the announcement we never wanted to make, & we do so with a very heavy heart: Wilko Johnson has died. He passed away at home on Monday 21st November. Thank you for respecting the family’s privacy at this very sad time. RIP Wilko Johnson.”
Wilko was featured on HBO’s show “Game Of Thrones” (playing executioner Ser Ilyn Payne on seasons one and two), having also worked with Roger Daltrey , The Who‘s frontman, on hit 2014 album “Going Back Home”.
