British doom and shoegaze band Sugar Horse have released their own version of the classic “Head Over Heels“, originally performed by new wave band Tears For Fears. Listen to it below.

Coming off the back of last year’s “Waterloo Teeth EP”, a collaborative effort featuring members of Idles, Biffy Clyro, Heriot, and Conjurer, the band carries the momentum into a cover of an ‘80s classic.

“It’s a song we’ve wanted to have a crack at for a while now and I think the fact it’s still clearly that song after our hamfisted mangling, is testament to just how genius Roland and Curt were”, the British group states.

The original song was featured on Tears For Fears’ 1985 album “Songs from the Big Chair”.

Sugar Horse are also set to tour the UK in May, with support from Dead Bird. Check all dates below:

May 2: Cardiff, Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff
