Finnish death ‘n’ roll act Disgrave drops debut EP and “Corrosion Born” video

Helsinki death ‘n’ roll band Disgrave have released their debut EP. The band pulls from HM-2 buzzsaw riffing, a punk attitude, and a nihilistic worldview. Alongside the EP, the band also shared a music video for the track “Corrosion Born”.

The members are not newcomers to the Finnish underground. Their lineup carries experience from bands such as Rukous, Winterwolf, Deathchain, and Ghosts of New York. Moreover, that background comes through on the new release.

The record leans into dark subject matter. Its lyrics tackle delirium, addiction, paranoia, and urban decay. As for influences, the band cites Entombed, Disfear, and dirty rock ‘n’ roll. Meanwhile, Disgrave builds their own identity on sounds rooted in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
