American slamming extreme metal project Disfiguring The Goddess has released a new single titled “Galapagos.” The track is available now below and on all major streaming platforms. It delivers the distinct mix of guttural vocals, pounding blast beats, and dense, mechanical production.
The one-man project is the creation of Cameron Argon, who has led Disfiguring The Goddess since the mid-2000s. Argon is known for combining brutal death metal, slam, and electronic sounds in a way that breaks from genre norms. Over time, the project has built a loyal underground following for its raw intensity and unique songwriting style.
Disfiguring The Goddess first gained attention with early releases like “Circle of Nine” and “Sleeper.” Both albums highlighted Argon’s ability to mix deathcore aggression with experimental textures. Later works such as “Deprive” and “Dark Opus” expanded that sound even further, earning the project a reputation as one of the most distinctive acts in extreme metal.
In July 2025, Argon released “Big Slime Summer,” a massive compilation album that looked back on the project’s history. It featured unreleased material and reworked versions of older songs. The record acted as both a reflection and a celebration of how Disfiguring The Goddess has evolved through the years.
