Disembodied Tyrant reveal temporary lineup change

Author Benedetta Baldin - 10.11.2025

After being involved in what is being called a “freak accident,” Blake Mullens, the singer and guitarist for deathcore band Disembodied Tyrant, as reported by theprp, has been sidelined due to an injury. Although the specifics of the event were not disclosed, it has been reported that he needed to be admitted to the hospital almost away, undergo surgery, and endure a “lengthy” recuperation period. We wish to extend our best wishes to Mullens for a speedy recovery!

On Monday the 3rd, Blake was involved in a freak accident that resulted in significant injuries to multiple limbs, requiring emergency hospitalization and surgery. He is okay, but there will be no more details given in relation to the incident out of respect for his family.

Due to this event and the lengthy recovery process involved, he is unfit to perform on DT’s upcoming US tour with Whitechapel. He is expected to recover in time for the band’s next tour in March.

He does not want to the band to lose momentum or opportunities, so the tour will proceed as planned with @trevorteichert and @rynovail stepping in on vocals. The rest of the band will see you there with Whitechapel, Bodysnatcher, and Angelmaker.
