A backstage interview with Knotfest in London revealed Slipknot‘s Clown’s 2025 New Year’s resolution.
I’m going to work on ‘No Complaining’…my expectations are never going to be met. So I need to give myself a break. It’s probably the last part of ego I need to work on.
And also the plans for the band.
I can just work on positive potential. We got a new album. We’re gonna start at some point. I just want to roll into that with an energy like it’s all starting again. That’s how I want to approach it.
After their recent 25th anniversary tours to commemorate their debut album, Slipknot seemed to have been rejuvenated and prepared to release whatever their upcoming music may sound like. They have teased tunes that they intend to release “soon” that were created with new drummer Eloy Casagrande. However, the long-teased “Look Outside Your Window” has nothing to do with this discussion of new releases.
It was never a Slipknot album. Not while it was happening, not while I’ve held onto it for 10 years, and certainly not fuckin’ when it comes out.
The record might see the light of day in the first quarter of 2025. Knotfest
