For Springsteen programs, the season has been extremely active. Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska: A Celebration in Words and Music, which featured performances by Noah Kahan, Lucinda Williams, and other artists, was recently broadcast on PBS. Artists that talked about how Springsteen‘s 1982 solo acoustic album “Nebraska” influenced them were interviewed for the special. A few days before Springsteen and the E Street Band begin a new leg of their current tour, on October 25, the new movie will have its premiere. They just finished a three-hour gig in Asbury Park, New Jersey, featuring many rarities, along with many dates in the United Kingdom and Europe. The additional North American gigs will run for the following month, with the new dates beginning on October 31 in Montreal. Next year, Springsteen is expected to tour overseas.
