The metalcore quartet Mire just revealed that their upcoming album, “Pale Reflection”, will be released on April 10th, as per MetalInjection. The announcement was accompanied by a brand-new single, “Pale Reflection,” which is the album’s title track, and a music video. It is the first Mire record using this lineup, which includes drummer JP Andrade, bassist/guitarist Ryan Glisan (formerly Allegaeon), guitarist Nick Hipa (formerly As I Lay Dying), and vocalist Benton McKibben.
Stoked to finally release some new @thebandmiremusic! The best time to drop new tunes was actually in 2023 when we had the whole record written, the second best time was in 2024 after we finally found the time to track it. Every day life, responsibilities, and logistics proved to be formidable obstacles for those targets though, so the THIRD best time is right now.
Today we’re releasing the first single “Pale Reflection,” which is the title track off our upcoming album Pale Reflection. It is the first to feature our rad new drummer @johnpaulondrumsand was mostly recorded at @atriumaudio in Lititz, PA, by the super talented and very chill duo of @grantrmcfarland and @carsonslovak who also handled mixing and mastering.
Links to this video, streaming sites, and pre-orders are listed in the bio.
Hope you dig this first song and we look forward to sharing more here very soon.
Since Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak are well-known for their work on August Burns Red and The Last Ten Seconds of Life, there is optimism that more works of this kind may be produced in the future. “Pale Reflection” can be pre-ordered here, and the new single may be streamed on Bandcamp.
