The music world has been rocked by the recent horrors of the Astroworld festival, headlined by rapper Travis Scott, which resulted in deaths and injuries. During Scott’s concert, the crowd-surge became so intense that nine people in the audience were crushed to death and several were injured.

After the event, there was also talk among metal musicians about concert etiquette and safety. Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, among others, spoke out about what happened, while Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe shared safety tips on social media.

Now the sad news is that the number of Astroworld victims has risen to ten. Consequence reports that a 9-year-old boy has died from injuries sustained at the event. The boy had attended the concert sitting on his father’s shoulders during the show, but when his father fainted in the pressure, the boy also fell and suffered a series of serious injuries after getting stomped on. Despite the best efforts of doctors, the boy died on 14th of November.

The boy’s family, like many others, has filed a lawsuit against Travis Scott. In addition, the family launched a GoFundMe to help the boy recover, but money can still be donated for hospital bills.

Travis Scott himself has publicly said that he intends to pay for the funeral expenses of the deceased. Police have opened an investigation into the cause of the tragedy.

Guitarist Ace Frehley, known from rock band KISS, supported a conspiracy theory that Astroworld was a place for satanic sacrifice.
