Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Ripping Remains bring a vicious dose of old-school death/grind to the table. The band rises from the ashes of Dripping Decay and is made up of guitarist-vocalist Eric Stucke, drummer Jason “The Machine” Borton—also known for his work with Jungle Rot, Ripped to Shreds, and Skeletal Remains—and bassist Michael Freiburger of Satanik Royalty Records.

Their debut EP, “Necrodestiny”, is slated for release on October 3rd via Satanik Royalty Records and features five new tracks, including the lead single “Rub My Infection On You”. The song delivers bouncing, catchy hooks, blistering blasts, gut-churning bass and plenty of swaggering groove, crowned with rapid-fire guttural vocals—a perfect reflection of the band’s love for old-school death metal and death/grind’s raw ferocity.

The EP was recorded by Derek Leisy, mixed by Greg Wilkenson, and mastered by Dan Lowndes. The cover art, designed by Toni K. Hietomaa—also formerly of Dripping Decay—depicts the undead mascot “Rippy” clawing free from the decaying corpse of his predecessor, set against a burning cityscape. The artwork suggests a narrative where death paves the way for rebirth.
