UK-based hardcore duo Death Goals have revealed their latest single “Even A Worm Can Turn” from their new EP, “Survival Is An Act Of Defiance”, set for release on August 29th. The song follows earlier single “Tchotchke”, which features Jenna Pup of The Hirs Collective. You can listen to the new track below and on streaming platforms.
Written and performed by Harry Bailey and George Milner, the EP was produced and mixed by Tom Hill at The Bookhouse Studio in London, and mastered by Dan Coutant at Sun Room Audio in New York. Artwork comes courtesy of Chris Gallagher (Misery Take Me).
Additional vocal features across the EP include Harry Nott of Burner on “Kill With Kindness”, Ewan Benwell of Cainhurst on “Even An Empire Can Burn”, and Lotta Ridgely of Victim Unit on the title track. “Even A Worm Can Turn” itself is further lifted by gang vocals from a wide group of collaborators, reinforcing the community-driven spirit at the heart of the project.
That sense of togetherness is no accident. Death Goals have made it clear that this record is as much a political statement as it is a musical one. In a time of ever-increasing hostility, the band emphasizes that community is more important than ever. They believe that love, solidarity, and compassion are the most powerful tools against those who aim to divide and destroy. The message is clear: none of us are free until all of us are free, and it’s vital to support all oppressed groups—not just those we belong to ourselves.
