West Coast crossover band Dead Heat have released the music video for their new single “By My Will,” a track from their upcoming album “Process of Elimination,” due October 10 via Metal Blade Records.

The album was co-produced by the band along with Paul Fig, known for his work with Deftones, Trivium, and Jerry Cantrell. “Process of Elimination” marks the bans’s first full-length release on Metal Blade.

With 11 tracks, the album continues the band’s progression from their 2023 EP “Endless Torment.” The band describes the new material as more complex musically, with heavier metal elements added to their hardcore roots. Themes across the album address personal struggles, societal issues, and disillusionment with authority.

“By My Will” centers on the idea of turning the tables on those who have hurt or ignored you, declaring that the speaker now holds the power and will emerge victorious.
