Dayseeker parts ways with longtime guitarist Gino Sgambelluri
California post-hardcore band Dayseeker has announced that guitarist and backing vocalist Gino Sgambelluri is no longer part of the group. The band shared the news on social media, explaining that the decision was mutual and made respectfully.
The members said it wasn’t easy to reach that point, but they wanted to act with appreciation. They emphasized how much Sgambelluri has given to the band over the years. In addition, they credited him for helping shape Dayseeker’s identity through his talent, warmth, and commitment.
Sgambelluri joined the lineup in 2012 and played a key role in the band’s rise from underground success to wider recognition. His exit now closes one chapter just as Dayseeker continues promoting their latest album “Creature in the Black Night.”
The group has not yet confirmed who will take over guitar duties. However, they encouraged fans to keep supporting both Sgambelluri and the band as they begin new stages in their musical paths.

We wanted to share that Gino and the band have mutually decided to part ways. This wasn’t an easy decision but there’s truly nothing but love and respect between us. Gino has been such an important part of Dayseeker’s journey and we can’t thank him enough for his passion, his kindness and the endless hours he spent dedicating his life to the project.
