Dayseeker drop “Bloodlust” as new single ahead of October album

American post-hardcore outfit Dayseeker have released a new single titled “Bloodlust”, offering a darker, more intense glimpse into their upcoming full-length.

The track is set to appear on their forthcoming album “Creature In The Black Night”, scheduled for release on October 24 via Spinefarm Records. Vocalist Rory Rodriguez describes “Bloodlust” as one of the more eerie and chaotic tracks on the record, written about people in your life who want to metaphorically drain the blood from you — those you can’t trust and don’t belong in your life.

Alongside releasing the song, Dayseeker also shared an official visualizer. The visualizer complements the track’s darker tone and helps push the more cinematic identity the band is leaning into for “Creature In The Black Night”. Rodriguez has also hinted that the new album marks a shift toward heavier riffs, more screams, and less overt melancholy compared to their past efforts.

The full album’s tracklist includes “Bloodlust” as track six, and also features previously released singles like “Pale Moonlight”, “Shapeshift”, and the title track. In support of the new release, Dayseeker will be touring with In This Moment in the U.S. this fall.
