David Ellefson announced his Bass Warrior Tour in Europe for December 2026

GRAMMY Award-winning bassist David Ellefson has announced his Bass Warrior Tour across Europe in December 2026.

The tour will feature Ellefson and his solo band performing selections from his celebrated catalog of mega-hits, including Megadeth’s “Countdown to Extinction” album in its entirety, alongside solo material and other hard rock and metal favorites that have inspired him throughout his more than 40-year music career.

Ellefson states:

“We received such an incredible response from fans when we performed Countdown to Extinction earlier this year that we decided to wrap up 2026 with a final run of shows across Europe. This tour will also bring us to some new cities and countries as we celebrate the music from one of my all-time favorite albums in my discography. It’s the perfect holiday wrap-up to the year!”

Ellefson launched his Bass Warrior Tour in 2024 with musical director Andy Martongelli (Ellefson-Soto, Artemis) as a way to perform songs for fans across Europe from his more than 40 years as a world-renowned recording artist.
