Dave Lombardo reflects on Slayer departure with no regrets: “You Have Disagreements. Families Argue.”

In a candid conversation with Drew Stone from The New York Hardcore Chronicles Live!, founding Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo shared his thoughts about his journey with the iconic thrash metal pioneers. Lombardo reflected his journey with the iconic band saying the following:

“Looking back, it’s been incredible. Disagreements happen—it’s like family arguments. I’m grateful to have been part of such an influential band and to have contributed to a genre that has supported me throughout my career.”

The drummer maintains a positive outlook on his post-Slayer musical path:

“I’ve been lucky to connect with many talented musicians who’ve invited me to join their projects. I’ve also started several bands myself, and I still feel my musical journey is far from over. I’ll be here making music until the very end.”
