It was directed by Clemente Ruiz. “Done Me Wrong” is the third track of Scars of Broadway‘s third studio album, “Addicted To The Violence,” which was released in 2025.
In May 2006, after System of a Down took a break, Malakian revealed his newest endeavor, Scars on Broadway, a band that would feature him and System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan. After experimenting with various musicians, Malakian and Dolmayan led the band through intense rehearsals and recording sessions at his home studio and Sunset Sound for nine months in 2007. The band’s members included Danny Shamoun on keyboards, Dominic Cifarelli on bass, and Franky Perez on guitar and backing vocals. In September 2007, the band started recording their first album.
A countdown timer on the band’s website was set for March 28, 2008, at 15:00 PST. The words “They say it’s all about to end” were also enclosed in quotation marks above the timer. Finally, the song “They Say” was released on the website and their Myspace account after the countdown reached its end. On April 11, 2008, Scars on Broadway performed live for the first time at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, California. Additionally, they performed alongside Metallica at Tucson, Arizona’s KFMA Day in 2008. The announcement that Scars on Broadway would play at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 26, 2008, was made on January 22, 2008.
