Florida-based metalcore outfit Dark Divine have dropped their latest single and visualizer, “Better Start Digging,” via Thriller Records. The track dives deep into the dark side of ambition, taking aim at a culture obsessed with achieving success at any cost. Lyrically, it reflects on how personal identity often gets sacrificed in the relentless pursuit of status and the so-called good life.
Known for their theatrical edge and genre-blending approach, the Orlando-based band has been gaining traction since their 2021 debut. Their 2023 album “Deadly Fun” helped cement their reputation with a mix of eerie melodies, crushing breakdowns, and emotionally charged themes.
“Better Start Digging” continues this momentum with cinematic intensity, moody electronics, and cutting lyrics that pack a punch. It’s a track that feels equally at home in the pit or on repeat through headphones.
The single arrives in the middle of a busy summer for Dark Divine, who are hitting stages across the U.S. as part of the Summer of Loud tour alongside acts like Beartooth, I Prevail, Parkway Drive, and The Devil Wears Prada. This fall, they’ll be back on the road supporting Blessthefall on a North American tour kicking off in September.
“Better Start Digging” is available now below and on all major streaming platforms.
