Beast In Black is a Helsinki-based international heavy metal band whose sound fuses powerful riffs with melodic hooks, dance-metal energy, and the drama of 1980s pop and electronic music. Lyrically, they draw on dark fantasy and sci-fi themes, with a particular passion for the manga Berserk. Known for their explosive live shows, the band has released three acclaimed albums, a string of singles and videos, and even collaborated on a video game. Their breakout video “Blind And Frozen” has surpassed 50 million views on YouTube.

Beast In Black was founded in 2015 by guitarist and songwriter Anton Kabanen. The original line-up featured Kabanen, vocalist Yannis Papadopoulos, guitarist Kasperi Heikkinen, bassist MátĂ© Molnár, and drummer Sami Hänninen, later replaced in 2017 by Atte Palokangas. Their debut album “Berserker” (2017) stormed the Finnish charts, earning platinum status, and their follow-up “From Hell With Love” (2019) also went platinum, cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting new forces in metal. During this period, they supported major acts such as Nightwish in arenas, while their first headline tour drew over 1,000 fans per night.
