Danheim unveils atmosphere-driven new album ‘Heimferd’

Copenhagen-based producer Reidar Schæfer Olsen, better known as Danheim, has announced his upcoming full-length album titled “Heimferd”, set for release on October 31st, 2025 through Season of Mist. The record promises to carry listeners through an immersive sound journey rooted in Nordic tradition and ambient resonance.

“Heimferd” is described as a mood-driven cinematic experience rather than a straightforward mythological narrative. It fuses thunderous percussion with minimal drones, drawing on both ancestral memory and contemporary sensibilities.
