Author Benedetta Baldin - 31.3.2026

The Orland Park, Illinois house of Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan is for sale for $1.575 million, as per Blabbermouth. The 57-year-old musician paid $1.3 million for the 7,000-square-foot home in March 2023, according to public records. Dan posted some pictures of the house along with the following comment on March 28.

I’m selling my home!!!!!! 3 yrs was enough for me & it’s time to move on. Lots of great memories & parties here but I’m going back to the OG & those backyard parties. 10 minutes away, lol! I’m gonna be splitting my time between the Glen and Sarasota, Florida. I had to re-edit this, so let me be clear, Illinois is still home, I’m going back to Homer Glen & I’ll still be here 80%. I just got a place to escape too from time to time & experience the salt life & the sun. I already got my place and headed down next week to pick out furniture, discover new places & meet new people. #florida #theglen #newchapter

Two days later he posted this:

My home in Illinois is for sale! Just 40 minutes south of Chicago. Many showings already that happened over the weekend. This will go fast.

Chicago-based American heavy metal group Disturbed was founded in 1994. Lead singer David Draiman, bassist John Moyer, drummer Mike Wengren, and guitarist Dan Donegan make up the group. Since the band’s founding, Donegan and Wengren have been members; in 1996, Draiman took over as lead vocalist Erich Awalt, and in 2004, Moyer took over as bassist Steve “Fuzz” Kmak. The singles “Down With the Sickness” and “Stupify” helped Disturbed‘s debut album, “The Sickness”, become a commercial success when it was released in 2000. After that, the band put out the albums “Believe” (2002), “Ten Thousand Fists” (2005), “Indestructible” (2008), and “Asylum” (2010), all of which made their Billboard 200 chart debuts at number one.

In October 2011, Disturbed took a break as its members worked on a number of side projects. During that time, the band released “The Lost Children”, a compilation album including tracks that had never been heard before. “Immortalized”, their sixth album, was released in June 2015, the same year they made a comeback. The albums “Evolution” (2018) and “Divisive” (2022) were their next releases. The band has sold over 17 million records worldwide, had six RIAA certifications for their albums (including five platinum for “The Sickness”), had two Grammy Award nominations, and had singles from all eight of their albums hit the top ten of the Mainstream Rock chart.
