Swedish post-metal outfit Cult of Luna have expanded their ongoing “Beyond” saga with a three-song EP titled “Beyond III, IV, V”. The EP includes two studio tracks—“Beyond III” and “Beyond IV” featuring guest artist A.A. Williams—and a live rendition of “Beyond V”.

This release continues the narrative that began on their 2022 album “The Long Road North”, where “Beyond I” and “Beyond II” appeared as atmospheric interludes. Guitarist and vocalist Fredrik Kihlberg explained that additional versions of “Beyond”—some with vocals, some instrumental—were recorded during that album’s sessions but didn’t make the final cut. They’ve now decided to release them separately.

The EP is available digitally and features tracks of roughly three minutes each. It blends fresh studio recordings with a raw live performance, adding new depth and texture to the “Beyond” storyline.
