Crystal Lake reveals the identity of their new permanent vocalist
Author Benedetta Baldin - 21.8.2026
Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake began touring with a number of fill-in artists, including members of Volumes, Secrets, and Enterprise Earth, following a tumultuous breakup with singer John Robert Centorrino, as per theprp. Now that PK of Prompts has been confirmed as their new frontman, they have revealed that they have secured a permanent vocalist to fill that position. In addition to Crystal Lake, Fear Factory’s next European/UK headline tour will feature Hate and the Nocturnal Affair. Fans can soon find Crystal Lake performing with PK behind the mic.
I’m PK, and I’m honored to officially join Crystal Lake as a full member.
One of the biggest reasons I decided to move from Korea to Japan and continue pursuing music was Crystal Lake.
I’ve loved and respected this band for as long as I can remember. Having been born and raised in Korea, I also understand just how significant Crystal Lake is—not only in Japan, but to the music scene across Asia.
That’s why becoming their official vocalist comes with a great sense of responsibility and pressure.
At the same time, I’m confident that I can carry that weight and continue moving forward.
I will never lose sight of the respect I have for everything Crystal Lake has built over the years. At the same time, I want to leave my own mark on the band by bringing what only I can do and creating what only I can create as part of the next chapter of Crystal Lake.
With determination, I’m ready to move forward together with this band.
I hope you’ll continue to support Crystal Lake in this new era.
