Crystal Lake releases official video for “Neversleep” featuring Myke Terry

The Japanese metalcore ensemble Crystal Lake is preparing to launch their forthcoming album, titled “The Weight of Sound,” scheduled for release on January 23, 2026, via Century Media Records. The band has recently revealed ‘Neversleep,’ a new single from the album, now with an official music video. This track features guest vocals by Myke Terry, known for his work with Volumes and Fire From The Gods. It presents one of the darker compositions on the record, highlighting the band’s extensive range of intense metalcore with elements of deathcore. Terry’s vocal contributions impart a sense of heaviness, complemented by Crystal Lake’s John Robert Centorrino, resulting in a seamless fusion of vocal styles. ‘Neversleep’ follows previously released singles including ‘The Weight of Sound,’ ‘Crossing Nails,’ and ‘BlüdGod.’

Guitarist and founder YD shares about the single:
“This track is the one where I poured in the Hardcore/Metal/Punk elements that I’ve carried as my own background to the limit. It’s simple, but with an extra twist, and at times hybrid arrangements, updating it into the kind of extreme sound that represents the current CRYSTAL LAKE. Every part of the song is made for you to dance, so don’t think too much — just feel it and enjoy. Stay heavy.”

“The Weight of Sound” is available for pre-order, in the following formats:

  • CD Digipak
  • Grey LP (EU/UK)
  • Ltd. white-transp. red marbled LP (limited to 600 copies worldwide)
  • Translucent Forest Green LP (US)

Following the album release, Crystal Lake will be joining forces with American metalcore band Miss May I for a co-headline tour during early spring 2026 in Europe and the UK. The tour will also feature Great American Ghost and Diesect as special guests.
